One reads much over software which "makes a telephone call home". Primarily of manufacturers who don't come from Germany. We wouldn't like to be thrown in into this pot!
We offer our customers especially an update function in the program as of version 9 which brings only advantages for the two sides. Who installs the program the first time as a registered customer is asked at once to look after updates. Firestorm can do this on request automatically.
Why do we recommend this?
There are thousands programs worldwide. Daily, we experience, that a new versions or Patches is published of Windows or of applications software. However, unfortunately, we experience, that also on the other side customers send us error messages of Firestorm versions which are no longer up-to-date already. This leads to faults on your system and increases the additional expenses with us.
Your advantages:
- As soon as faults in the program are eliminated, you are informed about it at the next program start.
- As soon as new cookies or advertising and spying modules are recognized by third party manufacturers, you are informed and increase your safety with that.
- The scope of work increases thus continuously without great effort. Installations of the complete application are thus only seldom necessary.

If you use the internal update function of Firestorm:
- It won't transfer advertising.
- It won't transfer any hidden advertising or spying module.
- It won't transmit any data to us. None at all!
- Only the most necessary is downloaded around connection times to economize.
- You are always asked in front of an update whether you would like to download it.
Furthermore we trade according to the strict German data protection law and have ourselves obligedly, generally, never to transfer data of the user to us.
We aren't interested in knowing what runs on your computer, you which music play or whether you use online banking. Never!
