The user crowd is divided at user manuals in 2 stores.
The first store doesn't use user manuals categorically and tries to understand every software by actions and of its own trying.
For this store manuals are superfluous, both printed and as thick online help on the hard disk as it is usually added at the installation on the computer.
The second store which, however, represents the minority uses only occasionally the manual. Then been aimed, however.
And You?
No question, a user manual or a help in any understandable form should give it. Because everything immediately isn't always plausible and many circumstances needs more than 2 words of the explanation.
Therefore we don't want to miss a user manual.
What do we make different now?
Our "online help" goes really online! This means a help file on the hard disk isn't installed any more.
This has the following advantages:
- The installation program is considerably smaller!
- It is no longer necessary to bring out an update only because the manual was changed. The internet pages can be updated fast.
- The expenditure of work for us is more smally, with that feasibly a faster putting into action.
- Double expenditure of work for the same texts both in the user manual like on the internet page is dropped.
- The new user manual on the Internet is updated once in a while around frequent questions and other current contents. Through this you get still more tips for dealing with Firestorm.
Disadvantages:
- You need an Internet connection. However, this is available as Flatrate with high frequency ranges today mostly so that no expenses result from it for most.
